2-1/2 cups flour 3/4 cup sugar 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 2 eggs, beaten 3/4 cup milk 1/2 cup vegetable oil 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese 1-1/3 cups peeled apple, chopped small 3/4 cup chopped nuts
Combine the first 5 ingredients and mix well. Combine the next 3 ingredients and mix well. Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and mix well. Stir in the cheese, apples and nuts. Spoon into a greased and floured 9 by 5 loaf pan. Bake at 350* for 55-60 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes. Remove from the pan and cool on a wire rack.
