2 cups sugar
1/4 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup chopped figs
1/4 cup chopped raisins
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon flavoring extract (lemon or orange)
Boil together in a sauce pan the milk and sugar to 24*. Add butter, flavoring, nuts and fruit. Beat until creamy. Pour into buttered tin and cut before it hardens.
