1/3 cup butter
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 cup mandarin oranges
1/4 cup whole blanched almonds
1 box yellow or orange cake mix
orange juice
1 tbl.orange peel
Melt butter and brown sugar together.
Pour evenly into bottom of a greased 12 cup bundt pan. Place mandarin orange slices and almonds in melted butter mixture.
Prepare cake mix according to package directions except substitute orange juice for water. Add orange peel. Pour batter evenly over mandarin oranges in the prepared pan.
Bake as directed. Cool in pan 10 minutes and invert onto serving plate
