2 cups flour 2 cups brown sugar 1/2 cup margarine, softened 1/2 cup chopped nuts 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 cup sour cream 1 tsp. vanilla 1 egg 2 cups chopped apples Powdered sugar
Combine the flour, brown sugar and butter. Mix at low speed of an electric mixer until fine crumbs form. Stir in nuts. Press 2-1/4 cups of the mixture firmly into an ungreased 13 by 9 inch pan. Combine all ingredients except the apples,in a large bowl; mix well. Stir in the apples. Spoon batter evenly over the crumb mixture. Bake at 350* for 30-40 minutes in a 9 by 13 inch pan.
